The property is a British stone house built in the colonial era. As soon as you reach, you’ll see a rusty iron gate with a stone slab with names of the first owners of the cottage.

The last line is Latin for - "it is no will-o’-the-wisp that I have followed here.”

This much needed getaway after being stuck at home for months in this lockdown was elixir to my soul. The most amazing trip of my life which i would cherish and remember forever. All the things i wanted to do from a very long time finally happened all together. Getting lost in the silence of mountains and forest , trekking on those scary forest trails , gazing the sky full of stars , breakfast with a view of ice capped Himalayas , fun barbeque nights accompanied by some flying squirrels and all of this with the most important people in your life.

The name says it all, THE SILENT TRAILS is a beautiful sanctuary located in between forests of Jiling estate,  Padampuri Uttarakhand. A heaven to those who are lovers of the silence and nature. We could also enjoy the view of Himalayas from the sanctuary. The silent trails is a 120 year old sanctuary which is basically a forest guest house that gives you a homely vibe with a wonderful blend of pure nature around you. You would have to literally trek upwards in a dense forest through trails which you would find utterly worthy once you reach the destination. 

Honestly , telling more about it would not justify the beauty that place holds and no words could describe the feeling of being there so i'd stop here and want every soul to get a chance to be there at least once in a lifetime.
