Swiss Paradise !!

Image
Wherever you find yourself in Switzerland, you’re never more than 16 kilometres (10 miles) from the nearest lake.  Crazy, isn’t it? Tiny Switzerland - also known as  the water castle of Europe  counts an impressive total of over 1.500 lakes. That's definitely one too many to visit while you're here, which leaves you with no choice but to prioritise. But which ones are the best? Are there any you absolutely can't miss?I’m sorry to disappoint you here, but claiming that I have the ultimate list with  the most beautiful must-see lakes in Switzerland  would just be plain arrogant. So I won’t go there. You know how it goes. You land in a new country, get the stamp in your passport, grab your bag and make it through customs. Next, you try to figure out how to make your way into the city. But all those options can be overwhelming and you have about a million questions you don't know the answer to. Should you have booked your train ticket in advance? Are trains e...

An evening in Paris!

Image
So many people out there having a huge bucket list to travel and i can't believe there isn't Paris in it! This city is a moving fantasy. And i'm so glad i could live my fantasy this soon, right from chasing the train to Paris as we almost missed it to getting off the train and that first step into the city was enough to make my soul rush with excitement. The city was meant to make people fall in love, and not just with one person or a thing but everyone and everything! Though everyone waits to climb up the Eiffel tower and see the whole city shining in the most beautiful way but for me it was the streets below the Eiffel where i left my heart. Midnight, 3 AM ,stars, croissant, wine, lovers, watch the Eiffel from below admiring its hugeness, talking to strangers , all these little things were actually bigger to me! i couldn't visit the museum though ,' musee de louvre"  one of the main attractions of the city ,as we reached quite late but they say everything happ...

You know those places, people, things that make your heart sing with joy and you hear music all around yourself in just a glance of them, DELFT  is one of those places! I have not been to many places yet as i have just begin but i'm so glad i have already seen some of the most amazing places in the world. This city called delft literally have my heart , i could hear music all around the city as we were street shopping there surrounded by castles and cute little restaurants.  Delft enjoys a worldwide reputation due to its connection with Johannes Vermeer, Delft Blue earthenware and the Royal House.  We can relive its glorious past as we wander along canals, churches, mansions and courtyards.  Delft is the perfect starting point for bicycle tours in any direction. The city centres of  The Hague , Schiedam and  Rotterdam  are all less than twenty kilometres away from  Delft  and can easily be reached by bicycle in about 90 minutes. Cyclist...

THE SILENT TRAILS

Image
The property is a British stone house built in the colonial era. As soon as you reach, you’ll see a rusty iron gate with a stone slab with names of the first owners of the cottage.                                                                         THE SANCTUARY Kenneth & Dorothy Stiffle “Non fatuum huc persecutus ignem” The last line is Latin fo r - " it is no will-o’-the-wisp that I have followed here.” This much needed getaway after being stuck at home for months in this lockdown was elixir to my soul. The most amazing trip of my life which i would cherish and remember forever. All the things i wanted to do from a very long time finally happened all together. Getting lost in the silence of mountains and forest , trekking on those scary forest trails , gazing th...

I Amsterdam 💗

Image
The places where you stay and places that stay in you" That's two years ago in Amsterdam and I'm so glad i took this picture..... randomly though!! This one brings to me the memories of that amazing city in a way that even when it's still, my eyes can see the whole city moving. Houses looked like chocolates and bikes flooding and crossing the streets like crazy! In fact there are more bikes than the number of inhabitants and are given priority. The way most of the people headed to their work all suited up on a BICYCLE was so cool 💼 I need to go back!! 💗

GEITHOORN, A VILLAGE WITHOUT ROADS

Image
We go from City to countryside and I have never been to a more beautiful place there are no roads, cars, trucks anything.  Just small bridges and boats taking you around the village through canals. All the houses looked like they were out of fairy tales and those cute and quirky restaurants with still heart. It is a charming village without roads located in the Dutch province of Overjissels , Netherlands. Completely car-free and laced with over four miles , the only mode of transport in this quaint town is by boat via the waterways. The stillness, space and nature make the journey through this dutch Venice simply unforgettable. It is so beautiful that one cannot get enough of this place. Your vacation will be laced with serenity as the only noise you will hear is that of the quacking of ducks. If you love to spend time on water this is your place to be as most of the houses are accessible only via waterways.
